DM74LSN Datasheet(PDF) – Fairchild Semiconductor
Stuck eight of thoses ‘s on my Kim in order to get some real computting power. But that doesn’t stop my “good chip to keep” detector from going off.
Ah yes, well spotted that man. Dave, On Mon, 5 Sep I’d always believed that powering up old equipment once in a while generates enough heat to dry the components out. I think datasheet 70nS cycle time. I can defiantly come up with some use for them if anyone can ID them I like having a large surplus of components Its just It seemed pointless to keep datasheeet around not knowing what they were.
Lots of the chips I cant ID don’t have manufacturers and just half half washed off numbers printed sloppy and crocked across them but a few are from big name manufacturers.
So now I figure Dataeheet want to get some projects and practical experience under my belt before Dm74ls1551n move on for a Masters and yet more calculus and theory. Other than my laser microphone I made for my capstone project I never really made anything worthwhile that wasn’t just simply following a lab manual. Can definitely come up with some use for some of this stuff, expecially the drivers. In either case I would assume that this is indeed the function generator chip as suggested. There only admittance test was a 12 min timed IQ test if I recall right. The dice themselves are datashset sealed with a thin layer of glass on the top surface except on the bonding pads.
Blessed are the Greeks. Everything else was dm74ls151b or computer related in the associate degree. On Wed, 7 Sepdigitaladdictions wrote: Hard to imagine how small memory was back then.
I am really friken tired of Laplace transforms, lol. I managed to identify about half of them and find data sheets and the other half nothing. My place is about 19 millionth on the right. The school had given us tons of IC chips that we never used. As it stands now it could just be a mater of putting it together with more exact values and keeping the leads short ect Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!
If any of these are particularly static sensitive they probably are keeshed after 4 years of floating around in a tackle box datashest the trunk of a car and dozens of hands digging through them looking for specific parts datasehet labs. Most of witch were odd brands that are out of business now that they probably got for next to nothing. Cheers, Howard Winter St. I built a PE Drum Synth in the late 70s that used, gasp, two s for storing patterns.
Went to a private tech college and paid obscene amounts of money as a penance for screwing off to much in HS and not being able to get into a regular University. Maybe it’s something else that is going on. The sawtooth output didn’t produce any output. Better than just chucking them out.

When I was searching for myself I really depended on finding a quite literal match as I really don’t know the logic behind the numbering. A lot of that stuff gets donated and slowly sits around becoming obsolete until the department moves and decides to throw it out.
When I get home tonight I will list the rest Justin. I datasgeet think I recognize that appearance. Send them to me I will recycle them in an environmentally-friendly manner!
You or another list member just might be able to use some of them for something useful once you know what they are. Lord knows why datasheer school gave us some of this stuff though or where they got there stock from. I don’t know how to program PLDs but I don’t think the school even had the means to do it.

Thanks for all the speedy responses. My school didn’t give us a pre-stocked junkbox. Many of the chips made back then are not useful because there are much better faster, lower power, higher capacity, etc. I don’t think so.
